Battle of Bosworth (Redemore)

There are at least three different locations proposed for the site of the Battle of Bosworth.
This particular interpretation is based on the works and findings of Foss (1998) and Glenn Foard (2004) that places the battle in the plain between Shenton and Dadlington.

King Richard III

Medieval Salet and Bevor

Armour Plate protection for Men at Arms reached the pinnacle of its design during the late 15th century. The introduction of firearms into the arsenal of most European armies rapidly made this type of protection obsolete. This is an example of a Visored Salet and Bevor for protecting the head and neck of a Medieval Knight.
